Where Waters Meet

Tabusintac Recreation Council
This non-profit organization has been working for the community for over 40 years. It was formed on January 8th, 1965 to organize and promote recreation for the area with its objective being to provide the youth of this area with adequate facilities, equipment and guidance in an attempt to benefit society in general.
Over the years, hundreds of volunteers have worked to accomplish that goal through a variety of efforts. TRC oversees the operation of the outdoor rink and ball field. It organizes annual winter carnival activities and during the summer months operates a day camp for local children.
During the past 40 plus years, the Recreation Council has supported baseball, softball, hockey, and broomball teams plus many other community endeavours. This has included the building and ongoing maintenance of the recreation facilities.
The Tabusintac Recreation Council Inc. has a rich history. Many of the people serving or who have served on the council are/were the sons and daughters of former members.
